I do so with no ill will, but with enormous and enduring gratitude to have had the opportunity to serve the country I love”

Her resignation will pave a way for a contest that will decide the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Theresa May who has served for almost three years as British PM was under enormous pressure to resign after a backlash from her MPs who have rejected the PM’s withdrawal agreement on three separate occasions.
