The Wait Is Over! Big Brother Naija Season 4 Premieres On June 30th

The premiere of the much awaited reality TV show has been announced this morning by DStv. According to the instagram page of DStv, Big Brother Naija season 4 will start on June 30, 2019. The post reads “Okay! We CAN’T wait no more! BBNaija2019 storms your screens on June 30th!

This brings to an end the long wait and speculations as to whether the show will be aired this year or not. This year’s edition was expected to start in April after auditions were held in February and highlights of the previous two seasons were aired in March alongside the Big brother Naija season 3 reunion show tagged double wahala reloaded. Since then, fans have been waiting and anticipating for the show which was delayed for reasons unknown to us.

Although the theme is yet to be revealed, Multichoice has been teasing fans with posters that read “Forget Wahala” “As e dey hot” and “Spicy Hot”

The previous seasons of the show were all held in South Africa but this season will hold in Nigeria. A house is said to have been constructed for that. The show which is officially sponsored by Bet Naija will be aired on Gotv and DStv.

The first season of the show aired in 2006 and was won by Katung .It was tagged Big Brother Nigeria with 14 housemates including the current host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. The second season aired in 2017 with 14 housemates and 2 fake housemates. It was tagged See Gobe and was won by Efe. The third season, Double Wahala aired in 2018 with 20 housemates and Miracle emerged winner.

A lot is expected as the show returns this June 30th; the drama, the romance, intrigues, the heated confrontations, the twists, the tears, excitements, backlashes and of course, the life changing moment.
