Note that the Npower program is absolutely free.

Application for Npower program 2020 for the newly intake batch is now open. Interested Nigerian youths can now register via the recruitment site npower.gov.ng apply.npower.gov.ng Npower portal.

N-Power 2020 Application Portal

The N-Power 2020 application portal is npower.fmhds.gov.ng and applicants are urged to read and comprehend all necessary information before applying.

How to Register For N-Power 2020 Recruitment

Giving further details of the Batch C recruitment, N-Power told the interested applicants to ensure they do the following when they are on the portal:

a. Input your valid contact information (email or phone number).

b. The information will be redirected to your email for confirmation.

c. Once your email address has been confirmed, you are to fill in your 11-digit BVN and date of birth in the following format (dd/mm/yy). Note that if your BVN details are not correctly written, you will not be allowed to go past this interface.

d. BioData and Contact Page: Fill in your surname, first name, and middle name in identical terms to your BVN information.

e. Education and Programme Page: Kindly indicate if you have received education or not. The N-Power programme is open to all, however:

The N-Teach and N-Health sub-programmes are open to only graduates. (In addition, note that for N-Power Health, selection preference will be given to holders of Bachelor’s Degree, HND, OND in health sciences such as Medicine, Microbiology, Nursing, and Public Health, Botany, Midwifery, Psychology or other allied disciplined in the sciences).

Where applicable, you will be required to upload your degree certificates and NYSC certificate.

f. Employment and Other Details Page: You will be required to answer some questions and upload your Government issued Identity Card. Kindly note that the acceptable Government IDs are:

i. International Passport ii. National ID card issued by NIMC iii. Valid Driver’s License iv. Permanent Voter’s Card.

g. Review and Submit Page -. Review all the information you have inputted and then submit. ii. Upon submission, you will receive a unique ID number. Write it down and keep it safe.

N-Power 2020 Recruitment: 400,000 To Benefit

According the Federal Government, absorb 400,000 fresh beneficiaries into the scheme after the exit of the Batch A on June 30, 2020 and Batch B on July 31, 2020.

NPower Programs

Here are NPower registration programs:

NPower Agro

N-Power Agro Volunteers will provide advisory services to farmers across the country. They will disseminate the knowledge that has been aggregated by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the area of extension services. They will also gather data of Nigeria’s agriculture assets.

Selection Preference: Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in Nutrition, Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Animal Science, Crop Science, Food Science & Technology, and other agro related disciplines.

2 Years

*Participants will undergo an initial induction training prior to deployment

N-Power Agro members can aspire to a life-long career in agriculture and other allied fields. Possible destinations include:

→Agriculture Extension Services Consultant

→Seed fertilizer and other input aggregators

→Farm managers

→Public sector jobs in agriculture

→Farming co-operatives management

→Agro-entrepreneurship

NPower Tax

The Federal Government seeks to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to come clean and declare and pay their appropriate tax due to the government.A minimum of 3,700 N-Power volunteers will be selected to work as Community Tax Liaison Officers to work in their states of residence with the state’s tax authorities. The N-Power community tax liaison officers will have the following key responsibilities which will include answering online inquiries, customer management, creating awareness of tax compliance.

Selection Preference

→ Unemployed graduates or non graduates

→ Currently Unemployed

→ Must be a graduate (Bachelors or Higher National Diploma)

→ Must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps Programme

→ Aged 18-35

→ Selection Preference Disciplines: Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Economics, Law, Finance, Psychology and other allied disciplines in the social sciences.

Knowledge and experience:

Essential

→ Good knowledge of Microsoft office tools

→ Good written and spoken English

→ Good phone etiquette

→ Excellent Analytical and Diagnostic aptitude

→ Desirable: knowledge of tax laws and administration in Nigeria

Duration: → Unemployed graduates or non graduates

→ Currently Unemployed

N-Power Build is an accelerated training and certification (Skills to Job) programme that will engage and train 75,000 young unemployed Nigerians in order to build a new crop of skilled and highly competent workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals.

SELECTION PREFERENCE

→ Currently Unemployed

NPower Health

Preference will be given to holders of Bachelor’s degree, HND, OND, in health sciences such as Medicine, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Botany, Midwifery, Psychology or other allied disciplines in the sciences.

NPower Teach

N-Power Teach Volunteers will help improve basic education delivery in Nigeria. N-Power Teach Volunteers will be deployed as teacher assistants in primary schools around Nigeria. They will not replace the current teachers, but will work as support teachers across Nigeria, assisting with teaching, school management and other functions within the schools. Where possible, they will also assist in taking basic education to children in marginalised communities.

STEM

Do you have any skills related to computer programming, computer graphics design, computer generated images, animation, server administration, database management, networking, etc? Then, N-Power needs you.

SELECTION PREFERENCE

All post-tertiary graduates from all disciplines inclusive of OND and NCE qualifications
