Williams Uchemba was born in the Southeastern region of Nigeria, Abia State, on October 22 into a family of 6; his two parents and 3 other siblings.

Williams Uchemba has a foundation “the Williams Uchemba Foundation” which he founded around 2017. The main aim of the foundation is to contribute in making the world a better and happier place. To achieved this goal, Wlliams Uchemba foundation started with a program aimed at taking 1,000 kids out of the streets and giving them education.
The Non Governmenta Organization also strives to ensure that parents have the means to keep their children out of the streets in the future. Also, to encourage more people to become involved in charitable acts. Williams Uchemba started a Give Challenge Tour in 2017. He challenged other celebrities to get involve. In April 2020, he donated cash and food materials to feed over 5,000 people living in slum communities in Lagos State.
Just in May this 2020, Williams Uchemba also built a house for a family that had been living in a slum. According to Williams, his partners from the US offered scholarships up to the university level to the two children in the family.
In June 2020, Williams Uchemba adopted an 18-year-old furniture maker and revealed that he had plans to sponsor his education until he graduates from the university. The movie star made this known via his Instagram page on Thursday, June 18, 2020, where he shared his encounter with the young man and how he came up with the decision.
According to him, he had gone shopping for furniture when he bumped into the teenager at the shop. After some conversations with him, Uchemba says he made up his mind to help the smart young man.
He wrote “A few days ago I went to a furniture store to make some furniture for my ongoing projects and when they took me to the workshop, I saw this young man Demola who was one of the carpenters but as an apprentice…I asked him some questions and realized that he is a very smart young boy, so I invited him to my house to know more about him. He is 18 years of age, has finished secondary school (with good grades), and would love to study Economics in the University but can’t further his education because he doesn’t have a sponsor to put him through school.” So today I decided to adopt Demola not only to sponsor him through school but to mentor him with the knowledge and other information that has made me who I am today, till he becomes the man God destined him to be. Say hello to my new son .”
