Until his death, Ubong King was the President and owner of Ubong King Foundation, a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Early Life and Educational Background
Ubong King was born in Lagos, Nigeria’s most populated city. He obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) from the Federal Government College, Ijanikin Lagos. He proceeded to the University of Calabar, where he studied and obtained a degree in Agriculture.
Ubong King started his career as a volunteer guard in the protocol department of the church he was attending at the time. King also worked as a consultant in a piggery. He later ventured into the security industry and went on to start his own security company, Protection Plus Security Limited.
Ubong King was also a motivational speaker. King facilitated and spoke at leadership and management retreats within and outside Nigeria when he was still alive.
Ubong was married to Unyime Ivy-King. Before his death, they were blessed with 4 children.
Unfortunately, Ubong King died in the early hours of 26th December 2020 after testing positive to Covid-19.
